In autumn there is harvest time. Ripe fruit is hanging on the trees, ready to be picked. Take a walk through the orchards. Numerous well-marked trails guide you through the colourful countryside.
"Törggelen" in Eisacktal valley
Along the way you may stop for a bite to eat in one of South Tyrol’s traditional country inns, since autumn is “Törggelezeit”. Taste the young wine along with roast chestnuts and enjoy seasonal South Tyrolean dishes.

Every year in autumn on the high apple plateau Naz-Sciaves takes place the “Sunnseiten Apfelwoche”. The festival, dedicated to the apple, offers for a whole week many events around the apple. The highlight of the festival is the thanksgiving parade, where also the new Apple Queen is going to be crowned.
